It was great to see Jake and Steve’s collection of fan fretted Brooks together at the workshop this month for a string change and a check over!
Colin came down to pick up his rosewood and Sitka spruce Lamorna 015.
Mike from Ohio got in touch to tell us how much he liked his redwood Lamorna and sent this photo of it amongst his collection of high end guitars – front to back – the Brook, Santa Cruz, Applegate and the Beneteau!

Phil McKnight wrote from Australia to tell us he’s still using his five year old Becka as his main stage guitar and it’s still getting lots of interest from audiences – so much so he’s considering ordering another for home use!
This Torridge has taken a knock to the side and has a four inch split at the waist, it’s now back together, secure and with no sign of the damage.
We’ve had to remove the fingerboard and fillet on this J45 to get to the damaged truss rod, more of this repair next month.
