It’s snowdrop time again – this year accompanied by early daffodils!
Georgia came down for her latest guitar –
A left-handed Lyn,
With a mahogany top,
Mahogany back and sides
And inlay on the twelfth fret.
Adrian came down from Southampton to pick up these two Taws, one with a Sitka spruce top, one with a European,
Both with figured mahogany back and sides,
We had this Manson Magpie we made in 1996 in for a set-up.
The Magpie was recently used on all the tracks on Days Dreamt by Burr Island. Here’s the album and a couple of photos of Tom and Oscar taken during the recording session at Steve Cradock’s studio in South Devon.
Burr Island supported Robert Plant for the UK leg of their recent tour!
Nick will be coming down at Easter to pick up his new Little Silver,
It has a 564 mm scale, a Sitka top
And walnut and cherry back and sides.
This Blackwater went off to Coda,
With an Engelmann top and rosewood back and sides.
We had to make up a new bridge for a left-handed conversion on this Pete Turner parlour guitar.
