News October 2026
Gordon came over to pick up his new Lamorna

And Paul picked up his Weaver tenor guitar.

Here’s the latest Brook for Ken –

A Newlyn with an Alpine spruce top

And local yew back and sides

with a Celtic knot rosette, phases of the moon fingerboard inlays,

And Jack’s headstock inlay of a hare silhouetted against the moon!

We’ve just completed this Teign for Tim

With a sunburst Adirondack top and mahogany back and sides.

Two here for Intersound –

An Engelmann and cherry Lyn and an all mahogany Weaver,

Also two for Project – a European spruce and cherry Taw

And a Sitka and mahogany Torridge.

Jon Woode contributed ten tracks to this new production album – all but one recorded on the Lamorna, Jon’s tracks are: A Walk in Time, Midsummer, Fresh as a Daisy, Seasons Turn, Going Places, Spring into Summer, Along the Way, The Wayfarer, The Woodlanders and Autumn Days.

Nice to see the Honeytone guitar we made many years ago, it came in for a quick set-up

And this 1982 Andy Manson Heron which was recently acquired from the Gardiner Houlgate Guitar Auctions.

Jeff brought his 2018 custom Torridge in for a tweak, we used the opportunity to take a photo of Jack’s ‘Garth’ headstock inlay.

We hope you haven’t suffered too much from the blustery weather, coming in to work the other day, this was the calm before the storm.
